Fans in Langley will be the first in Canada to enjoy Starbuck's favourite fall drink, the pumpkin spice latte.

Fans in Langley will be the first in Canada to enjoy Starbuck’s favourite fall drink, the pumpkin spice latte.

Through voting on Starbucks Canada’s Facebook page, Langley topped the charts of the PSL Challenge with 38,337 points, followed by Ladysmith B.C., with 13,132 points and Waterloo, Ont., with 7,094 points.

Those of us lucky enough to live in Langley can enjoy the tasty drink starting Aug. 28 whereas the rest of Canada will have to wait until Sept. 4.

Voting started on Monday (Aug. 20) for the second annual competition that selects the top U.S. and Canadian cities to get the PSL drink a week earlier than everyone else.

Fans could earn points by sharing Starbucks on Facebook or Twitter and taking part in daily challenges and creative challenges.

Last year’s winner, Calgary, did not even break the top 10 list this year, which also features B.C. towns Sidney in seventh place, Maple Ridge in eighth and Port Coquitlam in ninth.
