A fall tradition has helped some children in need.
The Salt Fowler Team from Re/Max Vernon held recently held a pumpkin picking and lunch in support of the Children’s Miracle Network.
“This year was the busiest we have seen for our annual event,” said Gord Fowler, with the Salt Fowler Team.
“It was so nice to see so many friendly faces who were so generous to the Children’s Miracle Network.”
The event was held at the Pumpkin Patch in Spallumcheen, and sponsorship also came from Tim Hortons, Safeway, Kiss FM and Teeter Totter Toys.
The Children’s Miracle Network is a non-profit organization that raises funds for children’s hospitals.
Beyond the pumpkin festival, the Salt Fowler Team is also involved in other community activities, including supporting Hospice House and Hope Air.
