The Downtown Maple Ridge Business Improvement Association handed out awards to 43 local businesses at its annual general meeting Monday, from favorite pizza place to favorite hair salon and fitness centre.
Panago Pizza, Temptations Salon and Spa, and Club 16 Trevor Linden Fitness were the winners in those respective categories.
DMRBIA executive director Ineke Boekhorst announced the winners at Maple Ridge council chambers, and a representative of each was presented with a personalized, commemorative plaque.
“DMRBIA is also extremely pleased with the community participation in voting, and with the attendance of business representatives who came to cheer on their fellow nominees,” said Michelle Zazulak, DMRBIA membership and events coordinator.
