A longtime Peninsula yoga teacher has developed a new series that aims to strengthen the bond between mothers and daughters.

Nadine Allworth, owner of Village Centre Yoga, created the series to help “during a time (when) many mothers and daughters experience a disconnect,” she said.

The yoga studio, located at 202-15515 24 Ave., will host the second session of the series starting Nov. 4. Classes take place on Mondays at 7:30 p.m.
