The Falls Music Lounge, the Savoy Brewery and the Farm Fresh Café are permanently closed as of Monday.
“Nelson is a competitive restaurant market,” said owner Jimmy Bundschuh in a news release. “We have found ourselves unable to rise above a number of challenges in the industry.”
The Savoy Hotel and Bloom Nightclub will stay open, and the Shambhala Music Festival, also owned by Bundschuh, will continue.
“The Falls Music Lounge, the Savoy Brewery and Farm Fresh Café have been an incredible experience for me and my team,” Bundschuh said.
“My passion was to restore this historic building and help put life back into this end of Baker Street. I am hugely proud of what my team has achieved. While I am greatly saddened by the closure of these businesses, I look forward to serving our guests in the hotel and nightclub.”
The spaces that were occupied by the music lounge and the café are available for lease, Bundschuh said.
