Women who are low skilled, unemployed or under-employed and are not eligible for Employment Insurance benefits and are interested in entering trades training programs are invited to check out an information session taking place at Okanagan College.
The Women in Trades Information session will be held Tuesday, Jan. 8, from 5 to 6:30 p.m., in room T123. Participants will receive information about the various programs available in addition to assistance in submitting applications for funding sponsorship.
The Women in Trades Training Initiative (WTTI) is funded by the Industry Training Authority through the Canada-British Columbia Labour Market Agreement.
