District of Clearwater’s new public works superintendent, Bruce Forsyth, worked his first day on Monday.
According to the District, Fortyth brings more than 20 years of experience in working on public works for local governments – both municipal and regional district. He has extensive experience with water and waste water systems, road maintenance, and utility construction.
The new superintendent comes to Clearwater from the Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District. He holds a variety of certificates for water and waste water management, and a certificate for public works supervision and construction management from BCIT Centre for Infrastructure Management Public Works Institute.
Forsyth enjoys hunting and fishing, and is looking forward to moving to Clearwater to enjoy the clean air and the variety of outdoor activities.
