Families are invited to attend a free community celebration this weekend and take in a slew of performances, including a show-and-tell of animal actors from Cinemazoo, dancers, singers and more.
Q-Fest is making its return after being introduced last year by Charan Sethi, who wanted to host an event to introduce residents moving into the Quattro development to their new neighbours.
The day of food, entertainment and children’s activities was so successful, it is being held again on July 9 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Whalley Boulevard from 108 to 107A avenues.
Organizations and businesses from the community are to set up interactive booths, and dance workshops for people of all dance levels will be offered to festival-goers.
