Vernon-based Pooch Partners is among the top-10 finalists for Small Business B.C.’s ninth annual Successful You Awards.
The contest recognizes aspiring B.C. entrepreneurs in six categories. Pooch Partners, owned by Shelly Korobanik, has been nominated in the Best Concept group.
Pooch Partners, which opened in September, helps dog owners incorporate the care of their canine companions into their daily lifestyle by offering fun, yet challenging, fitness classes that reinforce obedience. while helping people and their dogs develop an active lifestyle and a stronger bond.
The top-five finalists will be announced Jan. 30, after which they must present a business pitch to the panel of judges, with winners named Feb. 28 at a ceremony in Vancouver.
