With Halloween just around the corner, a Surrey nursery is gearing up to once again host a tradition of terror.
Potter’s House of Horrors (12530 72 Ave.) will open for the thrill season on Oct. 1, offering a month-long opportunity for enthusiasts of all ages to get in the spirit.
In its 14th year, the House of Horrors event includes small-scale haunted houses for those 12 years and younger, as well as a pair of chilling full-size counterparts, complete with rotting zombies, haunted libraries, an old swamp and more.
In addition to the Li’l Haunters attraction, there will be a House of Horrors family hour, for braver kids who want to check out a tamed-down version of the spookier attractions.
Other features this year include a coffin ride, a haunted photo booth, Xtreme Paintball Massacre and King Kong’s Hoop-of-Hard-Knocks basketball.
Partial proceeds are to benefit Critter Care Wildlife Society.
Potter’s House of Horrors will be open from 4-10 p.m. nightly Oct. 1-31 (closed Oct. 3-6 and 10), with a family hour from 4-6:30 p.m. Li’l Haunters hours are from 4-7 p.m.
Tickets – ranging in price from $6 to $15 for adult “double house” – are available in advance, online (pottershouseofhorrors.com) or at the door. Parking is free.
