The Regional District of Nanaimo is helping find solutions to the impacts of climate change.
The RDN is involved in a project, recently funded by the Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions, with Simon Fraser University and the Sunshine Coast Regional District to develop a user-friendly computer model to facilitate energy and emissions planning by local governments, building their capacity to reduce GHG emissions and contribute to a sustainable energy future.
The model will then be freely available to local governments.
