The Revelstoke Chamber of Commerce announced the nominees for the 2016 Business Excellence Awards.
Dozens of local businesses and employees were nominated across 13 categories. Note that businesses that have won in the last three years are ineligible to be nominated.
The awards banquet takes place at the community centre on Saturday, Nov. 5, at 6 p.m. Tickets are $60 per person, or $440 for a table of eight, and can be purchased in advance at the Business & Visitor Information Centre.

1. Entrepreneurial Excellence Award: Nominee has taken or overcome a risk to achieve success in their field. Shows exemplary initiatives in business. Demonstrates exceptional skills in providing the existing business to grow. The business must be less than 2 years old, or be an existing business that has developed a new product or service in the last two years.
