Okanagan Spirits Craft Distillery has released its 2016 rye whisky.
The latest offering was produced at the facility in Vernon.
“Rye whisky has a proud heritage in Canada,” said Tyler Dyck, chief executive officer.
“Our family at Okanagan Spirits Craft Distillery feels privileged to be a part of that heritage by offering up this year’s vintage of B.C.’s original rye whisky.”
With a blend of 51 per cent Coldstream rye, and 49 per cent locally malted B.C. barley, the three year-old rye is aged in Jack Daniels bourbon barrels and then cut with local well-water.
