SBOT hosts breakfast series on crime

Four town centres will be home to the coming events to address crime issues

The Surrey Board of Trade is once again hosting the Surrey Business Dialogue Series, this time taking on crime-related issues throughout the city.

The series will go from April to September and will include four town centres.

Specifically, on Thursday, April 11, 2013, the Surrey Board of Trade and the South Surrey & White Rock Chamber of Commerce will host a South Surrey and Ocean Park Crime Breakfast, focusing on crime and safety issues in the neighbourhood.  The morning event will feature Chief Superintendent Bill Fordy and Staff Sergeant Dan Gibbons, District 5 Commander, Surrey RCMP. In addition, City of Surrey Councillor Barinder Rasode, and Linda Annis of Crime Stoppers will be speaking.

Time: Registration and breakfast: 7:45am;

Program: 8:00-9:30 a.m.

Location: Ocean Park Village Pub (12822 16 Avenue)

Admission: Free
