For the second year, the Parksville & District Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Business Expo to promote networking in the local business community.
More than 40 exhibitors will be at the event on Nov. 5 at the Parksville Community Centre from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
There will be a session on digital marketing essentials at 2 p.m. led by Bravenet Marketing, which will help businesses with ideas on how to better manage their websites.
“We’re only in our second year with the Business Expo and we’re attracting some great exhibitors and presenters. I’m looking forward to attending and meeting some new people and some old friends and it will be a full day followed by our Business after Business. As a chamber. our job is to help promote the region and the Business Expo is another opportunity for us to create an environment for building connections and in turn, building business,” said Kim Burden, executive director of the Parksville & District Chamber of Commerce, in a press release.
The Island Highlander Food Truck will be on site for anyone wanting to grab a treat during the expo. The PQB News is a sponsor for the event.
