Start your Christmas shopping early with two wonderful arts and crafts sales happening this week.
The Ten Thousands Villages World Craft Fair sale at 100 Mile Baptist Church on Tatton Road, starts tonight from 5-8 p.m., Nov. 3-4, 10 a.m.-8 p.m., and Nov. 5, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. People can choose gifts from crafts such as jewelry, ornaments, pottery, giftware and more from throughout the developing world.
On Nov. 4, from 6-9 p.m, and Nov. 5, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., the South Cariboo Winter Arts & Craft Fair at 100 Mile House Junior Secondary starts their 34th annual sale.
People will find unique pottery, woven items, knitting, artwork and so much more from close to 50 vendors.
A gentleman in a red suit is making a special appearance at the winter craft fair, and for a charge people are welcome to have their pictures taken with the jolly old man.
