For any late holiday shoppers, stores in downtown Vernon are open until 8 p.m. this Friday, Dec. 21.
This is the last Friday of the season for the Shop Late ‘Till 8 in Downtown Vernon.

“When you shop at locally owned businesses you’re not only helping to maintain our unique community character but also supporting local entrepreneurs at the same time. Whatever it is, whatever you’re looking for, find it in the heart of Vernon until 8:00 pm every Friday from Nov 30. to Dec. 21,” wrote the Vernon tourism department on their website.
This includes 15 participating retailers: AJ’s Pets & Things, BACK to ROOTS Soaps and Gifts, Cobbler’s Rack Shoes & Repairs, Colour Time Ceramic Studio, Gold’n Time Jewellery, Little Plum, Monashees Wine, Spirits, and Beer, Nature’s Fare Markets, Nolan’s Pharmasave, Olive Us Oil & Vinegar Tasting Room, Pink Spotted Goat, Shoppers Drug Mart, Spinners Sound Centre, Teassential, Teeter Totter Toys, Terra Incognita Imports, and Vernon Teach and Learn Ltd.
