SIDNEY —Sidney Taxi has added a fifth vehicle to its fleet, which officially hit the streets on Nov. 30.
The local taxi company started operating two-and-a-half years ago on the Saanich Peninsula. Director Malcolm Brailsford says they have been applying to Transport Canada since then for additional cabs to grow their fleet. They had been unsuccessful until now. Their newest vehicle is an accessible taxi, good for the community’s large senior population.
