Wachiay’s Blueprint for Success: Women Entrepreneurial Program is gearing up for its fourth intake

Wachiay’s Blueprint for Success: Women Entrepreneurial Program is gearing up for its fourth intake starting May 31. To date, more than 180 women have participated in the program.

Workshop participants have access to a wide range of free services and resources, including Wachiay’s Business Resource Centre, a pro forma budgeting program, one-on-one mentoring and more. In addition, Wachiay offers participants free child care subsidies.

Wachiay has also launched a new website for women entrepreneurs. The site has links to a web-based video series that complements the workshops. The HD video series can viewed by clicking the link http://womeninbusiness.wachiay.org.

The site also has links to the workshop schedule, newsletters and business resources.

“Jay Silverberg is very knowledgeable and approachable. The value I derive from the relationship I am building with Jay is immeasurable,” a  Blueprint participant said.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for women to learn the street smarts of business,” a second participant said.

“We are very proud of this innovative workshop and mentoring program we have created,” said Silverberg, co-ordinator of Wachiay business programs. “We deal with business advice on a very ‘street smart, no-rose-colored-glasses’ approach, and focus down on what it takes to get into business, grow your business and succeed in business. We cover both the rewards, and the risks, providing a balanced approach in a highly user-friendly style. This includes all of our guest speakers as well.”
