Sugarcane TreadPro receives service excellence award

Sugarcane TreadPro was awarded the TreadPro Tire Centres Service excellence award for 2012 at the group’s recent annual meeting in Calgary.

In keeping with their constant growth and improvement, Sugarcane TreadPro was awarded with the TreadPro Tire Centres Service excellence award for 2012 at the group’s recent annual meeting in Calgary.

“This location was an interesting location as they came to us fresh, having not been in the tire industry before,” said TreadPro Group President Les Donaldson.

“They got off to a bit of a rocky start, but over the past couple of years, they have really come on board and stepped it up.”

Donaldson cited that the shop, located on the Williams Lake Indian Band has shown a strong level of commitment to the group and their customers over the last couple of years, showing an increase across the board in many key areas.

This increase Donaldson added was due in no small part to the band’s hiring of a new manager.

“When they brought Willie (Sure) on board, we saw a marked increase in the successes at this location,” he said.

“He really brought the business around. We look forward to working with him, the band and the skilled technicians at the store for a long time”

This is the second year in a row that Sugarcane TreadPro has received an award at the group’s annual general meeting.

In 2012, they received the award for ‘Most Improved Location’ during the event held in Banff.
