The Surrey Board of Trade raised more than $2,700 and 700 pounds of food for the food bank at its annual Seasonal Sizzle Business Networking Reception Dec. 7.
More than 450 business people attended the annual event.
“The Surrey Food Bank’s lineup’s are increasing each year, unfortunately,” said Anita Huberman, SBOT CEO.
“Businesses have a role to give back to the community and help those in need.”
