If you’re an individual who thrives on living in the digital world, it may be worth checking out Telus’s 585-square foot Future Home in Langford.
The home, which is powered by an ultra-quick fibre-optic network, is located in the Westshore Town Centre parking lot from now until Nov. 13.
Features of the home include facial recognition entry, a smart fridge and cooktop that can help guide you while cooking, home monitoring systems, interactive art walls and, of course, the latest in home entertainment, including a 4K Ultra HD TV.
The Future Home showcase comes after Telus announced that it is investing $23.8 million to improve access to its fibre-optic network for some West Shore homes and businesses.
Following its stay on the West Shore, the Future Home will move to the Panorama Recreation Centre in North Saanich.
