Terrace promotion to help dry grad committee

As much as $6,000 can be earned for Caledonia committee

Terrace Totem Ford is once again raising money for a local cause by offering test drives of its vehicles.

Tomorrow, each test drive taken at the dealership will result in a $20 donation to the Caledonia Senior Secondary School dry grad committee. A maximum $6,000 can be raised.

The dealership has supported dry grad committees in previous years and the local minor hockey program in this fashion.

The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the dealership.

“We are excited to be supporting our local students in our second annual Drive One,” says Kevin Kennedy, general manager of Terrace Totem Ford, of the event.

“The monies raised benefit important programs at our schools and at the same time introduce parents and other drivers to our high-quality line-up and innovative safety technologies. Please come out and support our students in this fun community fundraiser!”

Participants must be 18 or older and have a valid driver’s licence. There is a limit of one test-drive per household.
