Vendors and entrepreneurs alike will want to be in Qualicum Beach on Thursdays as the Downtown Business Association holds its weekly uptown summer market.

Spokesperson Jan Spink said the evening of late night shopping and entertainment will provide both groups with a superb venue to showcase their wares and talents, in a fun setting.

“The business community is very excited about this and all participating merchants are delighted with the occasion to proudly acquaint you with their first class customer service and products, with many offering specials in support of this fantastic event,” she said.

The business association is also encouraging and welcoming people with musical talents to set up throughout the venue as buskers to complement the shopping experience.

“Shop local and share the experience,” she said. “You’ll be delighted.”
