Tourism Langley has received some high marks.
The organization has been awarded accreditation from the Destination Marketing Accreditation Program (DMAP).
In earning accreditation, destination marketing organizations (DMO) communicate to their provincial and municipal government as well as community, purchasers and potential visitors that their DMO has attained a significant measure of excellence.
“Tourism Langley has demonstrated a commitment to quality programs and services,” said Shelly Green, DMAP’s board chair.
“Earning DMAP accreditation tells the Langley communities and potential visitors that your DMO has attained a measure of excellence assuring that their trust is well placed and their business is in good hands.”
“We are very pleased to be recognized in the destination marketing community for providing outstanding services in accordance with international standards and benchmarks in this field,” said David Struthers, the chair of the board of directors for the Tourism Langley Association.
“Tourism Langley has been a phenomenal champion for our community since its inception with great staff working diligently to draw visitors to our community and the region,” said City Mayor Peter Fassbender.
“Their recent accreditation speaks volumes for the fantastic work the Tourism Langley team is doing.”
“We value Tourism Langley’s efforts to promote our community regionally and around the world,” said Township Mayor Jack Froese.
