A pair of Fort Langley businesses have advanced to the next round in their respective categories for the 13th annual Small Business BC Awards.
Blacksmith Bakery is in contention in the category of Best Employer while Republica Coffee Roasters Inc. is in the Best International Trade category.
Five hundred and thirty-five small businesses were nominated from communities across the province in the 10 different categories and through voting, that has been narrowed down to 100.
Those in the top 10 in their categories now move forward to face a panel of judges who will review their applications and narrow it down to the top five finalists in each category.
The winners of each category will be announced at the Small Business BC Awards ceremony on Feb. 25.
