Vaughn Wyant Automotive Group buys Audi Kelowna

Turner family of Kelowna sells dealership to growing Saskatchewan-based automotive group.

The Vaughn Wyant Automotive Group (VWAG) announces a corporate expansion today with the acquisition of Audi Kelowna.

“We are elated by the opportunity and the potential for this premium brand in the interior of BC,” said president and CEO Vaughn Wyant. “Audi will join our other premiums in Kelowna—Jaguar, Volvo and Land Rover—providing more choices for our customers as well as synergies with our Audi dealership in Saskatoon.”

Michael Wyant, general manager of Sales for VWAG, added: “Audi is a tremendous brand and we are really positive about it’s growth potential for Kelowna and area. We recognize our place in the community and look toward an amazing future for Audi, meeting and taking great care of our customers here.”

Audi Kelowna was purchased from Ed Turner and the Turner family, who have been a respected part of the Kelowna automotive/business community for many years.

“We take very seriously the reputation of the dealership and it’s ownership here,” said Vaughn Wyant. ” We thank the Turners for providing the opportunity and we will ensure that their record of excellence in this marketplace endures. Audi Kelowna will continue to have solid leadership and a strong presence.”

The Vaughn Wyant Automotive Group has been growing and expanding since it’s inception in 1983 with the purchase of Jubilee Ford in Saskatoon. Over the past 30 years, the group has added Jaguar, Volvo, Land Rover, Mitsubishi, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche and another Ford dealership in Saskatchewan as well as Jaguar, Volvo and Land Rover in Kelowna and Hyundai in Vernon. Well established in both Saskatchewan and B.C., VWAG operates a valid and valuable business model based upon “honesty of practice, care for customers and employees alike and essential support for community,” said Vaughn Wyant.
