Vedder Transportation president Fred Zweep is receiving the Global Natural Gas “NGV Champion” Award.
The award is being given out today (Nov. 7) in Mexico City, Mexico.

It is given to a person who has significantly advanced the use of natural gas as a vehicle fuel, and furthered the goals of the NGV industry.

On Dec. 1, Vedder and FortisBC will open Canada’s first fully serviced Commercial Liquified Natural Gas Card Lock in Abbotsford.
“I do not deem the award presentation to be that of my singular success; rather it’s about the cornerstone of success base don the collaborative efforts of Vedder Transport Ltd. and our partners FortisBC, Peterbilt Pacific and Westport Innovations which has led to the successful delivery of the Vedder Transportation Groups Natural Gas Project.”
