Some of the best in local business were officially recognized earlier today (Thursday) at the 2020 Abbotsford Business Excellence Awards, which were presented by the Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce and the Abbotsford News.
The virtual ceremony honoured businesses operating in a philanthropic and empathetic manner, especially with those who persevered during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The ABEA’s highlight businesses focused on the safety and well-being of those they work with and serve. They recognize businesses showing leadership in the development of new strategies to serve and meet the needs of the community. And, the awards put a spotlight on businesses that have pivoted production or developed new business, products or services in an innovate way to meet unique demands during the pandemic.
