Community partnerships are once again among the key ingredients for Vancouver Island University’s VIP Business Breakfasts.

Coast Capital is sponsoring the popular VIU Foundation fundraising initiative as it expands from one event on the main campus in Nanaimo to four with additional breakfasts planned on regional campuses in the Cowichan Valley, Parksville/Qualicum and Powell River.
“We are looking forward to working with the Vancouver Island University Foundation to support students,” said Maureen Young, manager — Community Partnerships and Investment for Coast Capital Savings. “VIU is integral to the growth of Vancouver Island’s academic knowledge base, skilled trades education and cultural resources.”

During the breakfast series, guests will enjoy a gourmet breakfast prepared by students in VIU’s renowned Culinary Institute of Vancouver Island.
Students who have benefited from Foundation awards will be invited to breakfast to share their amazing stories.
