Voting has begun for the 2018 Nanaimo Business Awards.
According to a press release, the 18th annual awards recognize individuals, businesses and non-profit groups that have added to the “fabric and flavour” of the community.
There is a list of 100 finalists, with 22 categories, and voters can cast their ballots at the Greater Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce website until April 6 – voters don’t have to be a member of the chamber.
A panel of independent judges will rank and vet the Top 5 with accounting firm MNP overseeing the process.
The Nanaimo Business Awards gala will take place April 26 at the Port Theatre.
