West Shore Chamber of Commerce names new president

Stephen Whipp has been named the new president of the West Shore Chamber of Commerce.

Stephen Whipp has been named the new president of the West Shore Chamber of Commerce.

Whipp is a Manulife Securities ethical investing financial planner based in Langford. Chamber executive board members are elected for three-year terms.

“Stephen has been involved in the West Shore community for many years and really believes that a healthy community includes healthy and sustainable businesses,” says chamber past president Kyara Kahakauwila.

“The urban centres of the West Shore are growing exponentially, so it’s important for us to keep businesses and communities connected with new and continuing WSCC projects that ensure effective growth and success.”

The West Shore chamber’s treasurer is Allan McNeely, a small business owner; first vice-president is Craig Pratt, a Mortgage Advisor at CIBC; and second vice-president Keray Stott, an independent insurance and investment broker.
