Whale of a donation for health care

Owners of a seaside White Rock restaurant have once again donated to Peace Arch Hospital and Community Health Foundation.

The Peace Arch Hospital and Community Health Foundation has $1,684 more to contribute to health care on the Peninsula, thanks to a donation from Marine Drive’s Moby Dick Seafood Restaurant.

The money, presented June 1, was gathered through the restaurant’s annual fundraiser, in which 50 cents from every guest check during March is donated to the foundation.

Selina Yano accepted the donation, on behalf of the foundation, from Moby Dick owners James Morrison and Ralph and Monika Oswald.
