More than 100 artists pre-registered for the Opus Art Supplies first annual plein air painting contest held in Langley on Saturday, April 21.
Contestants set up their easels from Innes Corner plaza to Sendall Gardens and Brydon Lagoon for the chance to win one of three Opus gift certificates, valued at between $100 and $500.
The trio of judges who were tasked with picking the winners were artists Janice Robertson and Lalita Hamill, as well as Scott Marsden, the curator of the reach Gallery Museum. The winners’ names were not available by The Times’ deadline.
