The Newton Cultural Centre hosts the exhibition In The Wild for the month of January, featuring the work of painters Wendy Schmidt and Audrey Bakewell.
Schmidt‘s realistic watercolours focus on the environment and wildlife, while Bakewell’s acrylic and watercolour work also feature scenes from nature.
The two-person show in Surrey runs until Jan. 31, with an opening reception Jan. 7, 1-4 p.m.
The Newton Cultural Centre is located at 13530 72 Ave. The gallery is open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and weekends form 1-4 p.m.
