An Abbotsford registered dietitian has released a new book to help individuals gain insight into their minds and diet.
Author Rika Mansingh says her book The Empowered Mind Diet Equation provides readers with “well-organized, simple, clear and concise information to equip you with the knowledge and tools to boost your energy, increase your focus and memory, improve sleep, and enhance your happiness and well-being.”
“To conquer any goal, we need to conquer our minds – and one of the ways to do this is by altering our diet,” Mansingh says.
She describes The Empowered Mind Diet as an “innovative and powerful guide” that can lead people to become healthier and happier.
“Eating well for the mind leads to feeling well, which in turn leads to sleeping well and more energy to exercise well,” Mansingh says. “Feeding the brain is crucial for good mental health and well-being.”
Mansingh is currently working as a consultant dietitian in private practice, a clinical dietitian in long-term care and a media dietitian.
She has more than 16 years’ experience in the profession and has written articles for newspapers, magazines and newspapers, as well as being broadcast on radio shows and satellite TV in South Africa.
