Shuswap Film Society presents the 22nd annual International Film Festival, featuring 15 films over nine days, from Friday, Feb. 25 to Saturday, March 5.
Friday night’s opening reception will feature the film Wild Target and the theme of the evening will be spy- versus-spy. So dress up as your favourite character, or go ‘undercover’ as your own idea of a spy or detective.
Ryan Redford, the Canadian director of the movie, Oliver Sherman will be a on-hand this weekend for the screening of his movie on Feb. 26 at the Salmar Classic.
He will be available for questions after the movie.
In between films, head over to SAGA Public Gallery for a Reel Lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26 and Sunday, Feb. 27.
The lunch features hot homemade soup, with bread and cookies from Blue Canoe, coffee or juice – all for only $7.
Festivities, prizes, and surprises will mark closing night, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Film passes and single tickets are available at Wearabouts, or at the door.
