African Children’s Choir to perform in Ladysmith Nov. 4

As well as a session of inspiring music, people attending the conference will be supporting a great cause.

The African Children’s Choir will perform at Bethel Tabernacle, 1149 4th Ave., Wednesday, Nov. 4, starting at 7 p.m. As well as a session of inspiring music by a troupe of talented young performers, people attending the conference will be supporting a great cause.

Music for Life (The parent organization for The African Children’s Choir) works in seven African countries such as, Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Sudan, Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa. MFL has educated over 52,000 children and impacted the lives of over 100,000 people through its relief and development programs during its history,” says an MFL  release.

“The MFL’s purpose is to help create new leadership for tomorrow’s Africa, by focusing on education.”

The children’s choir has performed before presidents, heads of state and most recently Queen Elizabeth, at her diamond jubilee.

It has sung alongside artists such as Paul McCartney, Annie Lennox, Keith Urban, Mariah Carey, Michael W. Smith, and other inspirational performers.
