Legendary rocker Alice Cooper brought his Raise the Dead Tour to the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre on Thursday night.

Oh, Alice Cooper.
For two hours you rocked the Abbotsford Sports and Entertainment Centre, Thursday, Nov. 14.
It’s like you never grew older – “I’m Eighteen” again – but perhaps you grew wiser.
The “glam rock” of the early ’70s was revisited. We were “waiting so long” for the Telephone Line and the Billion Dollar Babies — and you delivered them. In spades. What a great band you had that night.
Grounded by the solid rhythm section of bassist Chuck Garric and drummer Glen Sobel, the triple-guitar line-up of Ryan Roxy, Orianthi and Tommy Henriksen screamed and wailed for the appreciative crowd.
And you gave us us Hey Stoopid and Welcome to my Nightmare, with all the theatrics of your Vaudeville Rock ‘n Roll Full-on Hardcore Metal Band. The guillotine, the pyrotechnics, the costumes and of course, the scary monsters.
With a rock star career that spans almost 50 years and more than 50 albums, you have a lot to choose from. And you gave us a nice selection.
But the sublime moments came at the end of your show with the five-song tribute to our long gone rock ‘n roll history, the 1960s acts who inspired you: The Who; Pink Floyd; Jimi Hendrix; The Beatles. You brought it all back, along with your own classics.
Thanks, Alice.
