Two nights of storytelling — filled with twists and turns — are coming to Langley’s Water Shed Arts Cafe.
TRESPASS: Best Laid Plans features performances of personal true stories by actors and others, as they share particular episodes in their lives that changed them in some way.
The stories touch on reconciliation, love, betrayal, hope and forgiveness. Whether the story is touching, shocking or funny —they all have something in common — each is true and told from the heart.
Storytellers include Jacky Yenga, who left Cameroon when she was nine years old, and Krista Rutschmann who starts her story with, “I had no idea. None.
“That second line slowly materialized in that little screen, and I had no idea what it meant.”
The shows in Langley are scheduled for Oct. 25 and Oct. 27 at the Water Shed Arts Cafe at 20349 88 Ave.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and show starts at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $25 and are available online at www.brownpapertickets.com/event/3621063.
