Vernon musician Carolyn Anele is holding a CD release concert in support of her new album, Where Birds Sing.

Co=produced with Andrew and Zachari Smith of Lake Studios in Kelowna, the CD is a fusion of folk, country, bluegrass, and Celtic roots and tells uplifting stories of life, love, family and friendship and the simple journey of the human heart.

The concert takes place at Paddlewheel Park Hall, Saturday, Nov. 23 at 7 p.m.

Anele will be accompanied by Andrew Smith on guitar, banjo and mandolin, Deborah Lee on background vocals and percussion, Rod MacDonald on upright bass, Anjuli Otter on fiddle and Dan Oldfield on drums.
