The Saanich Peninsula Arts and Crafts Society (SPAC) will be bringing their 63rd Arts and Crafts Exhibition and Sale to the Mary Winspear Centre at the end of the month.
The show will have around 150 artists whose works include hanging art, sculptures, pottery, fine arts and jewelry.
There will be two guest artists on the show’s stage. Joanna Drummond and Roger Belley will have their work on display. They are potters, sculptors and painters.
Run by volunteers — SPAC has around 300 members in total — the show will offer patrons door prizes from the artists. The show also features demonstrations by the members of SPAC. Three members will put on demonstrations for the public to see throughout the day.
People wanting to purchase work can do so right away at the gift shop, which will have smaller items, but must wait until the end of the day if they wish to purchase artists’ work to bring home.
The exhibition will take place April 30 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and May 1 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Mary Winspear Centre.
