Artisans wanted for Enderby Arts Festival

Call is out to artisans and crafters who wish to participate in the outdoor artisan market at the Enderby Arts Festival.

The Enderby and District Arts Council is once again gearing up for the annual Enderby Arts Festival July 26 and the call is out to artisans and crafters who wish to participate in the outdoor artisan market at the festival.

“This year’s festival has it all,” said market coordinator Neil Fidler.  “Space is filling up and we urge local artisans not to miss out on this opportunity, as each year attracts larger crowds.”

In the centre of everything is the entertainment stage, with all-day music and activities. Headline acts include  drum circle leader David Thiaw, bands Transplant and Sabrina Weeks and Swing Cat Bounce.

On Belvedere Street, the Courtyard Gallery will feature entries in the annual Snapshots photo exhibition. Artists will also demonstrate their work in the courtyard and in the street.

A food court on Cliff  Avenue and the Lions pancake breakfast on Belvedere Street, including a display and auction of art prints, will be part of festivities along with games, yoga and Zumba for children, entertainment, art stations and face painting in the Family Fun  Zone in Belvidere Park.

To register as a vendor, phone 250-838-0577 or email enderbyartsfestival@shaw.ca.
