The Rollin Art Centre is excited to present our current art exhibit, which is now on at the Rollin Art Centre until July 5, featuring local artist Murray Claughton.
Claughton will be showcasing a selection of oil painting of both local landscapes and his travels to Mexico.
Join us in the gallery for refreshments, Saturday, June 14 from 1-3 p.m., for Claughton’s artist reception. You’ll have the chance to ask him about his work.
Summer art just for kids
The Rollin Art Centre is excited to offer summer art programs for children age 5-9, Tues, Wed & Fri. Each week brings a different theme, call today for more info and to register, as seating is limited. Cost is $25 per week.
Teens write, get creative
The Rollin Art Centre will be offering something new this summer to youths and teens, ages 10-12 & 13+. Program times are 9:30 am – 12:30 p.m. for 10-12 year olds and 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. for ages 13+, every Monday. The goal of this program is to educate youth and teens in the art of creative writing. Artists wanted for pool murals
The Community Arts Council of the Alberni Valley in collaboration with the City of Port Alberni is looking for artists to design original permanent murals to be installed at Echo Centre Pool.
The murals will be made out of Aluminum Composite Panels. All materials will be supplied.
