Auditions for Misty Hill Automaton

Auditions for 2012 Production will be held Nov. 17-18 at the old Chilliwack Arts Centre on Henderson.

On the heels of an extremely successful run in Chilliwack last May, the Fraser Valley Creators Association is working on a return production of the original musical, Misty Hill Automaton!

Auditions for 2012 Production will be held Nov. 17-18 at the old Chilliwack Arts Centre on Henderson.

“The 2012 production promises to astound audiences and set a new benchmark for theatre in the Lower Mainland,” says director Steven Martens.

They are looking for 20 actors aged eight to 80 to fill the large number of roles in this production.

“The association’s goal is to assemble an all-star cast that will propel the production beyond the Fraser Valley,” said Martens.

“This is a great opportunity for local actors to get involved in a truly exciting and unique theatre production with a fiercely loyal following.”

Auditions for the musical are on a first come, first served basis beginning at 7 p.m. and ending at 10 p.m. on both nights. Actors will need to have a song prepared (acapella) and will be asked to read from the script. The call is also going out for backstage hands and production crew personnel.
