Barrie Chadwick (left) and Barry Walker show some of their work currently on display at the Newton Cultural Centre in Surrey.
The two Australian-born artists have an exhibit at the centre for the month of August called Barrie/Barrie-Aussie Connection or Tropical Disease – a play on their names and beriberi, a nervous system ailment.
The show features a collection of colourful, original acrylic paintings comprised mainly of landscapes, seascapes, urban scenes and some portraits.
The show runs until the end of the month at 13530 72 Ave. For hours and more information, call 604-594-2700.
