B.C.’s best craft distilleries back in Chilliwack for Fraser Valley Distillery Festival

Small-batch spirits, appetizers, live music, candy and more come together for FV Distillery Festival

Find your new favourite craft spirit right in time for Superbowl Sunday at this year’s Fraser Valley Distillery Festival.

On Feb. 2, the Chilliwack Academy of Music invites you to its fourth annual fundraising event featuring some of British Columbia’s best distilleries. Plus, there’ll be a marvelous selection of food from Chilliwack’s very own Lakeside Beach Club and charming live and local entertainment.

Featuring up to 20 distilleries, there will be a stunning range of craft spirits ready to be sampled including: craft vodkas, rums, gins, single malt whiskeys, flavoured liqueurs and more.

Last year’s fan favourite, Wayward Distillation House, returns with the always entertaining Sons of Vancouver, the wildly popular Taynton Bay Spirits, and many more. For those of you who find your new favourite spirit, there will be an on-location liquor store to purchase a bottle.

The excitement doesn’t stop at craft spirits though. The Lakeside Beach Club Restaurant will be offering an incredible array of appetizers that pair perfectly with the selection of spirits.

Plus the Fraser Valley Distillery Festival will entertain you with locally sourced talent, including the first appearance of the Chilliwack Academy of Music’s very own band of instructors, Dis Stil a Thing. Alongside the debut appearance, they will also be showcasing their students on piano.

Right in the middle of the event will be a silent auction — the place to be for those who want to take home any number of items donated by Chilliwack businesses — as well as a 50/50 draw and, for the first time, a candy table to satisfy your sweet tooth.

All proceeds from this event will be help fund the Chilliwack Academy of Music’s programming.

Every element of the Fraser Valley Distillery Festival, from the distilleries, the entertainment, the food and the sense of community, will all come together to create an evening that perfectly pairs luxury and creativity.

This is a 19+ only event.

The Fraser Valley Distillery Festival takes place at 7 p.m. on Feb. 2, at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre. Tickets are $50 and are available by calling 604-391-7469, or online at chilliwackculturalcentre.ca.
