Woodlands Secondary School band will perform at the Tulip Festival in Ottawa this week as part of a band exchange.
Nanaimo students left Wednesday for the nation’s capital, while about 50 students from St. Matthew’s High School will arrive May 18 in time to perform in the Empire Days Parade.
The tour is paid for with funding from the department of Canadian Heritage.
