Warless will light up the Gwen Pharis Ringwood stage in Boitanio Park Thursday with their infectious blend of soul, funk and work beats, preaching peace and pure joy through melodious vocals, boisterous bass, sweet licks and grooving rhythm.
Warless is the first of two of the July 28 Performances in the Park series and begin their hour-long concert at 6 p.m.
Get ready to move with Barefoot Caravan starting at 7 p.m.
Barefoot Caravan is a vibrant project based out of the North Okanagan.
This dance-it-up world fusion group blends up-beat soca, afro-Cuban and reggae rhythms with melodic harmonies and organic under-tones; roots music, raw and true, naturally compelling your body to move.
Cody‘s Bannock and Taylor Made Cakes will be on hand with bannock, sandwiches, pizza, cupcakes and sweets available for everyone during the performances.
There will be an Art in the Park kid’s corner, hosted by the Community Arts Council of Williams Lake as in previous seasons providing art projects for the little ones. Performances in the Park is presented by the Central Cariboo Arts and Culture Society with the support of the Cariboo Regional District and the City of Williams Lake, along with business sponsors.
