Beach Flicks continues its 2015-16 season this week at Eaglecrest Golf Club with a presentation of The Invisible Woman on Friday, March 11.
The film stars Ralph Fiennes, who also directed the story of famed British author Charles Dickens. The film opens a window into the life of the forty-five-year-old Dickens (Fiennes), who, despite being married and having many children, falls in love with seventeen-year-old actress Nelly Ternan (Felicity Jones).
The Invisible Woman exposes how the romance came to be, and the impact it had on both Dickens’s and Ternan’s lives. With fabulous sets and costumes, The Invisible Woman is being classified as another great period piece.
Fiennes provides a captivating performance sure to entertain the crowds at the Eaglecrest.
Tickets are $6 at the door. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the film begins at 7 p.m. sharp.
